Coral Spawning 2011 - 31 October 2011
Once a year the corals of the Great Barrier Reef reproduce in a mass event known as Coral Spawning. In this amazing phenomena, corals release eggs and sperm into the water creating what looks like an upside down snow storm. Be a part of the action with TUSA Dive's Coral Spawning Night Diving Trips. TUSA 6 begins Day Trip operations - 17 August 2011
Tusa Dive's new vessel TUSA 6, began her day trips to the Great Barrier Reef under sunny skies on 10 August. Perfect conditions on the reef made for a fortuitous start for TUSA 6, as crew and guests enjoyed the improved features and next generation technology.
Tusa 6 will be launched in August - 19 July 2011
Tusa Dive has announced a $3 million investment in TUSA 6, which will be the newest boat in Cairns’ Great Barrier Reef day dive and snorkel tour fleet, when it’s launched in August 2011. TUSA 6 will deliver superior customer service, comfort and facilities.
Cairns Open for Business - 09 February 2011
Cairns and the towns to the north received very little damage from Cylcone Yasi which crossed the coast about 150km to the south of Cairns on WED 02 February. Tusa Dive resumed normal day tour operations on Saturday 05 February.
CAIRNS IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS - 20 January 2011
In response to numerous customer queries, Tusa Dive would like to advise that Cairns and its Great Barrier Reef are still open for business. The flooding that is currently affecting regional communities in southern Queensland (1,000km from Cairns) is not impacting local weather conditions or tourism operations.
